About Susan Edwards...
“Some people testify of God through their words.
I not only testify of God through words but also through the language of art and music.”
As a portrait, figurative, and landscape painter working primarily in oil, my goal is to immortalize those brief, luminous moments when emotions and relationships expose that divine spark within ones heart. Each of my religious paintings unfolds a unique story, inviting viewers to pause and reflect on the profound connections that define our relationship with God.
Over the course of four years, I had the privilege of serving as a key member of a temple mural painting team. Our work included painting the endowment room murals for the Kona Hawaii, Philadelphia Pennsylvania, Baton Rouge Louisiana, Meridian Idaho, and Suva Fiji temples.
Beyond the canvas, I am an inspirational author and also a singer/songwriter. As a singer/songwriter as well as a painter, I create a multisensory experience for my audience by weaving sound into sight, offering a symphony for the senses. Many of my works are paired with original songs that my husband and I have written and recorded. My creations are visual as well as sonic hymns of adoration, channeling my love for God, endeavoring through art to evoke the tender emotions of His love for His children—and their reciprocal devotion—in ways that touch the heart, spirit and soul.
